My name is Anthony Leyland and I am a BACP and BPC-registered Psychodynamic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

I have worked in a variety of settings (NHS primary and secondary care, universities, schools, charities) with adults and young people. This breadth of experience, knowledge and understanding enables me to help clients to talk about and find a way through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement and relationship problems, as well as areas such as difficulties in adult functioning secondary to childhood trauma and abuse.

My practice is located in private, comfortable therapy rooms in Southampton (adjacent to Southampton University, Highfield campus).

I am giving the following details to explain something of the type of therapy I offer, the steps involved in getting started in therapy, and some of the practicalities, e.g. how long it takes and what costs are involved.

The purpose of this outline is to help you to understand and make a more informed decision about whether you would like to pursue this form of therapy, and if so whether you would like to meet and explore working together.

What next? To find out more, or if you would like to arrange an appointment, please contact me by telephone (please leave a message) or e-mail.

**PLEASE NOTE: My practice is currently full; however, if you are interested in working together please contact me as availability can change – and I do keep a small waiting list which may be an appropriate option for some patients. AL – 29.05.19.**
